The bridge

Moving value between Solana, Robinhood Chain and Arc, in both directions.

What does Bridge in the Hood actually do?+

It moves native value between three chains: SOL on Solana, ETH on Robinhood Chain and USDC on Arc. You send from one side, a route delivers on the other, and both transaction hashes are shown so you can verify each leg on its own explorer.

Which directions can I bridge?+

Five, all on the Swap page: SOL → ETH on Robinhood Chain, ETH → SOL back to Solana, SOL → USDC on Arc, ETH on Robinhood Chain → Arc, and Arc → SOL back to Solana.

What is Arc?+

Arc is an EVM chain from Circle where the native gas currency is USDC instead of ETH, so balances and fees are priced in dollars. Bridge in the Hood treats it as a first-class destination next to Robinhood Chain.

Do I need a separate Arc wallet?+

No separate key is needed for the same EVM account on Arc and Robinhood Chain. However, a connected wallet account and an app-generated wallet may have different 0x addresses. Check the receiving address before confirming.

Can I move funds from Robinhood Chain or Arc back out?+

Yes. ETH → Arc moves value from Robinhood Chain to USDC on Arc, and Arc → SOL brings it back to your Solana address. Each side needs a little of its own gas currency.

Where do my funds land?+

Funds land at the exact receiving address shown in Swap or Trade. The app currently selects a connected EVM account when available, otherwise the app-generated account; these may be different wallets. Returning to Solana uses your connected Solana address. Confirm you control the displayed recipient.

What if I am on a phone without a mobile wallet?+

Swap has a manual mode that gives you a one-time deposit address. You can send SOL from any wallet or exchange and the destination side still settles to you — no Phantom signature required.

How long does a bridge transfer take?+

Most routes settle in seconds once your deposit confirms. Busy networks or large amounts can take a few minutes while extra confirmations come in. The Swap page tracks the transfer and links to both transactions.

Swap & trade

Buying and selling tokens on Robinhood Chain and Arc, both ways.

How do I buy a Robinhood Chain token with SOL?+

Open Trade, pick or paste the token's contract address, enter how much SOL you want to spend, and confirm. One signature in your wallet; the token lands on your Robinhood Chain address.

Can I go the other way — pay with ETH or USDC and receive SOL?+

Yes. On Swap, pick ETH → SOL from Robinhood Chain or Arc → SOL from Arc. Each origin chain needs a little of its own gas currency, and the SOL arrives on your Solana address.

Can I sell as well as buy?+

Yes, on both chains. Selling a token on an EVM chain normally takes two signatures: an approval that lets the router move that token, then the sale itself.

Can I buy any supported Robinhood Chain token?+

Paste any Robinhood Chain contract address into the token picker on Trade and, if there is a route for it, you can buy or sell it the same way.

Can I buy Arc tokens with SOL?+

Yes. Switch the market toggle on Trade to Arc, pick a token from the list or paste its contract address, and pay in SOL from your Solana wallet. The token lands on your Arc address — the same one you use on Robinhood Chain.

Which wallet do you recommend?+

OKX Wallet. It supports Solana, Robinhood Chain and Arc in one app, so every direction here works without switching wallets. Phantom, MetaMask and Rabby also work.

Wallets & keys

Your Solana, Robinhood Chain and Arc accounts, addresses and private keys.

Where is my Robinhood Chain wallet?+

The app-generated EVM wallet is derived locally from a Solana message signature and shown in All wallets → Export & backup. A separately connected EVM account can be selected instead. Compare full addresses; connecting Solana alone does not identify which EVM account received a payment.

Can I use my own EVM wallet instead?+

Yes. Connect MetaMask, Rabby, OKX or Phantom's EVM account and the app uses that address for balances, buying and selling — no MetaMask forced.

Can I export my wallet to MetaMask or Rabby?+

All wallets → Export & backup exports only the app-generated address printed above the keys. For a connected OKX, Phantom, MetaMask or Rabby account, export from the original wallet app. Import an EVM private key into OKX and verify the full imported address. Never share keys or phrases.

Why don't my tokens show up inside Phantom?+

Check the destination network and exact recipient. App-generated EVM wallets are separate from Phantom's own accounts. An account imported using only a Solana private key does not automatically provide an EVM key. The app cannot identify a recovery phrase from a public address.

Where can I see every account at once?+

The Wallets page lists every connected account — Phantom/OKX on Solana and your Robinhood Chain accounts — with balances, USD value and recent transactions side by side.

My balance shows zero but I know I have funds.+

Compare the full address with the delivery transaction and choose the correct network. Arc and Robinhood Chain have separate balances. Unavailable history or balance is not proof that funds are missing or the balance is zero.

Fees & timing

What it costs and how long it takes.

What does it cost?+

Network fees on each chain, a small routing fee for the party delivering the asset on the other side, and a flat 0.25% app fee that keeps Bridge in the Hood running. Every part is shown in the quote before you confirm — nothing is taken silently.

Why did I receive slightly less than quoted?+

Prices move between quoting and settling, and large orders move the market against themselves. That difference is slippage, not a hidden fee.

Can a token charge buy or sell taxes?+

Yes. Individual tokens can set their own rules and fees, so check the token before you trade it.

Troubleshooting

When something does not look right.

I pressed confirm and nothing happened.+

The wallet prompt sometimes opens behind the page or is blocked in an in-app browser. Reopen the wallet, look for a pending request, and if there is none, refresh and try again — an unsigned order costs nothing.

It says connect MetaMask, but I am already in Phantom or OKX.+

That message meant no EVM account was exposed yet. Unlock the wallet, allow the EVM account for this site, and reload — Phantom, OKX, Rabby and MetaMask are all accepted.

My deposit went through but I have not received anything.+

Keep the origin transaction, Relay request ID and delivery transaction. A successful Solana deposit is not proof of destination delivery. Check the route status and exact destination recipient on the explorer, then view that address on Arc wallet. Do not assume its keys belong to a particular wallet app.

The page looks stale or the buttons misbehave.+

Hard-refresh once. In-app wallet browsers cache aggressively, and a reload pulls the current version.

Safety

Keeping your funds yours.

Does Bridge in the Hood hold my funds?+

No. Everything moves from your wallet to the route and on to your own address. There is no account balance held here.

Who could ask for my private key?+

Nobody legitimate, ever. No admin, giveaway or support agent needs it. Anyone who asks is trying to steal from you.

How do I avoid fake tokens?+

Names can be copied; contract addresses cannot. Always paste the address from a source you trust, and send a small test amount first.

Is this financial advice?+

No. Bridge in the Hood is a trading and wallet tool. Only spend what you can afford to lose.
